At BrainJocks, you will be working with a fast paced development team to build, implement, and deploy web sites and applications using the Microsoft platforms including .NET, Visual Studio, C#, IIS, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and SQL Server. Using Agile techniques, you will be responsible for turning business requirements into technical solutions that delight our customers.

Technical Responsibilities

Work with the Development team in a fast paced environment to build, implement, and deploy websites and applications using Microsoft Platforms
Utilize Agile techniques to turn business requirements into technical solutions for clients
Ability to work independently as well as on a team and manage multiple task assignments.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgments.
Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications.
Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
Create technical specifications and test plans.
Consult closely with management and occasionally agency staff related to projects and tasks.
Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems.
Identify and communicate risks and issues
Support all quality initiatives that are implemented during each phase of the development life cycle
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other IT Services, IT Solutions functions and customers to expedite delivery of IT solution

Required Skills

5+ years ASP.Net Development
2-5+ years’ experience developing Complex Web Applications
2-5+ years’ experience with C#
Experience working with the MVC Framework
Experience working with HMTL / CSS / Javascript Customer facing experience

Preferred Skills

Sitecore or experience with another CMS and their architecture
Experience with MS Entity Framework or comparable ORM
Agile Experience
